Hi everyone;
I'm a longtime projectionist from Germany. I was offered to get out some 35mm-prints from a former distributors cellar.
my problem is: I couldn't identitfy all - need help with a couple of titles.
I can't get out / store dozens of prints; have to limit on a fistful of titles "deserving" to be saved from puttin' on the trash.
Anyone out there specialized on french movies round 76 - 78?
Looking forward for a reply - regards, Walter
PS
Have posters and 35mm-trailers of those unknown titles, maybe that helps.

Re: identification - 70s french movies
...one of them is Gamine et l'amour; German VHS was from Munich Venus-Video.
credits given on poster are presumably fakes.

I know there are some experts (much more expert than me) who look at the forum but do not post. It would help them get in touch with you if you allowed your e-mail address to be seen by clicking on your name. Or you could include an e-mail address in your posts. Or e-mail me.
Direct communication would also be easier for you to get results - though we would obviously be interested in those results - because the conversation could probably be more detailed and perhaps quicker.
For example, there is a reference work - Dictionnaire des films fran?ais pornographiques et ?rotiques 16 et 35 mm
I've just used it to look up Gamine et l'amour, but that title could not be found in its index (which does include many foreign titles for French films). No luck for Gamines et l'amour either.
It's not clear if you have viewed the films concerned. Descriptions of what goes on would be the most help to identification.
BTW, I also have to ask if they were all French. Some British films of the 70s were released in Europe in hardcore versions and those versions have never come to light
In any case any information you can post would be of interest and we would try to help.

Re: identification - 70s french movies
Thankyou! Have updated my profile.
No, I didn't see those films. Right now, they are 300 km away from me. Have to decide which ones to take. 1st try is via posters and trailerscans.
regards!
WZ
btw: who is pictured on poster?

Sorry, I don't know who she is. Thanks for updating your profile. You may get an e-mail from one or more French experts.
It's still worth posting info here as well because the more people who see these things the more likely you are to identify the films.

Re: identification - 70s french movies
... those small distributor had mostly french movies; most of them appeared via VHS at Venus-Video, some at VFL.
