How would I give a rate for this work...?

Hi Guys

Need a little bit of help.

Ive been offered some work which I have been told would be 3hours in total

In the 3 hours the person wants to to shoot 5 solo sets(continental) and 2 x15 minute videos

Do I charge for the hours worked or do I charge per set/ video

If I do charge per set how much would one normally quote per set.

How's you? Haven't seen you since my party.

I wouldn't charge per hour or per set. Besides photographers who pay by the hour or set are, in my experience, either very amateur or trying to pull a fast one. Indeed, generally speaking anyone that asks you your 'rate' is probably both of these and if they were well versed in the porn world would know what the norms are anyway.

Clearly you know what they want you to do and for how long. They should then tell you what fees they're offering. If both are acceptable to you that's fine. If not either re-negotiate or decline the work.

He contacted me originally through my model site, and I referred him to her. On her rates page it states that solo adult work upwards is by negotiation, therefore requiring him to ask

No direspect at all to you, but how many Anglo Indian models will go beyond showing their wrists and ankles

It's a question of supply and demand... When I started shooting back in 2001, at first I could only find one Anglo Indian prepared to work to solo/toys and she wanted ?85 an hour just for stills, in those days... Thank god I found a few more
