I usually find it easier for all concerned to charge by the job rather than the hour, it leaves no nasty surprises for the client and is quicker and easier to work with. The price I quote will be for everything we agree on and will include at the very least all of the above.
Finished projects will usually be presented with the mini-DV or DVD master and a CD containing a high-resolution print of the sleeve design (in different sizes if VHS and DVD are both needed). As an added bonus and because the last thing I ever want is to disappoint, clients are more than willing to see rough cuts of the edit before it's complete to see how it's going and add in input of any music, shots or effects they would like changing, removing or adding to the finished edit.
