Bought two of cathys dvds today from reliable shop in london. but both dvd were poor quality. no colour on both. I have a quality dvd player and never had problems with any other dvds. Any one else have this problem. And i will be taking them back for a refund. The films were Writers 1 and 2.

maybe you bought bootleg dvd's? as Cathy's films are the best quality (picture wise) I've ever seen from U.k stuff, take em back mate, as all of Cathy's films are in glorious technicolour and then some

set your dvd player to ntsc and it will be fine look in the menu of your dvd

NTSC ( Never twice same color )

There's usually an option in the DVD player set-up to AUTOSELECT PAL or NTSC
