I have been touch with a model her experience (Intermediate) and wish to shoot her for stills (2 hours) and video (1 hour) doing solo continental for both. but her rates are ?150 adult 1 1/2 hours and ?200 for 1 1/2 hours. This is a fair rate.

I not looking to toss myself off, may be you do, this was a serious question I have photographed lots of girls and I want to know how other proffessionals in this industry thought about it. I will not rip off models like some but I will not be taken for ride either.

She is 18 and doing her exams so has been in this game not very long. Funding her way though college I expect, if she charges this she will not get much work.

totally agree, i was let down yet again on Thursday at the eleventh hour by a model who is looking to go pro.( not a good start). I was paying her a very good price for two hours work and stiil she tried to screw an extra ?25 out of me. I am not wanting to be mean and i appreciate sometimes things crop up out of the blue but to receive an email late at night saying you cant make it when the shoot starts early the following morning is not good enough. Well that s my rant for the day, back to the rugby.
