Hi there,

I was hoping I could get some help/tips/pointers from some of the professionals in the adult entertainment industry..

I am seriously thinking about starting my own production company and creating my own HARDCORE films as I have quite abit of knowledge when it comes to media and production. However, I'd like to ask just a few direct questions

They are:-

What are all of the certifications/legal trademarks needed to film/create adult movies LEGALLY in the UK?

How do I aquire all of the certifications/legal trademarks needed to film/create adult movies LEGALLY in the UK?

I understand I cannot sell my movies in the UK, and I cannot send them out for sales from within the UK *unless I am a registered legitimate shop*... however, can I sell my movies via the internet (as long as they are posted from outside the UK..)?

How would I go about introducing my production company into the adult entertainment industry?

Where would I find actors/actresses willing to work?

What is the rate of pay...EG: per hour/film/day? - and how much is the average pay per each of these?, for men and women...

Where do I go to get my DVD's mass produced for sales?

Who do I advertise my production company with?

How do production companies go about auditioning the film stars?

For filming - you need model releases from the performers, ID from the peformers.

You make sure that the performers bring their ID and photocopies. No papers, no pay.

Where would I find actors/actresses willing to work?

Here (me!), agencies, message boards.

What is the rate of pay...EG: per hour/film/day? - and how much is the average pay per each of these?, for men and women...

Varies a lot, depends on your shoot style, quality of talent, how much you don't want them to cancel because you've been a cheapskate and they've got a better offer. Email me for a chat.

How do production companies go about auditioning the film stars?

They don't, (except one or two very well known companies, no one else bothers because too many pervs claim to be running "auditions") - they go on word of mouth and recommendation.
