There are those that believe that if you have a web site you must be good and legit even though in reality it probably cost ?20. Carry on posting mate as what people forget is we are talking about ADULT models who are actually very brainy and can work out for themselves who is real and who is fake and if need be they'll even get a solicitor involved to ensure they get a fair deal if it all goes Pete Tongue.

To illustrate Joe's point, read this post to see how it should be done. The point isn't that the guy has a site as Digi-Guy seems to be saying that Joe thinks everyone without a site isn't genuine. Thats not what Joe is saying but look at the info that is posted. Any model reading this can be in no doubt what is expected, it also helps the photographer posting as much info as he/she can, so to avoid unsuitable candidates applying. This post shows how it should be done in my opinion.
If you are indeed the male model who would be involved, fine tell people that. If a model applys and later finds out that you would be the male model then that would damage your reputation straight away, however genuine your intentions are. Surely Joe isn't being unreasonable when he expects to find what location the shoot will be in? Surely its a good thing to try and cut down the amount of emails you get ? Unless of course Joe's suspicions are correct and you just want 100's of women emailing you.

Having a web site wasn't what I was thinking about at all, but having a real email address like bt.com or wanadoo etc. always seems more reliable than Yahoo, Hotmail etc.
You made a good point about Simons post but he is a pro. Then again an amateur could post the same information. Then there is the post warning models of a fake which I mentioned...

It would be good to see some of the other girls taking control of their own destiny and not paying attention to the dark voices but then again from what I saw at the ETO show not too many listen to them anyway.

Neil all I am saying is that why is the level assumption on here that EVERYONE who does not tick every box is a phoney? This is probably the only place where the dark voices dictate who is genuine and who is not and please allow me to finish by saying that people who live in GLASS houses should not throw stones?
