Another one who can't read! The problem is about girls who accept bookings and then don't turn up! It's got fuck all to do with the money! If the money wasn't enough they wouldn't take the booking would they!!!!

You're far from being alone.. Wait a bit longer in the day and two people you know or know of, might post about their % of no shows... They both have had little moans to me about models I know, who either have done that or due to them thinking they're stars have changed their minds about booking them as the models attitude was up their own arse.... LOL.

Now have a good Xmas and relax.. Let's hope that 2006 will be better for everyone than 2005 seems to have been

I understand your frustration over this issue.

However while I do not deal with these girls personally, can you be sure that failing to turn up at a booking does not mean the money (at least compared to escort work) is a problem?

I have found people will leap at better offers elsewhere in any area of life, and not find the time to let the party they have let down that they have gone elsewhere...

that I like the sound of.why shouldnt there be a list of models who dont bother to turn up ?
so what if they are favorites of people here.if there was such a list then these fav models whould have to sort their act out and be more reliable.
would that not be a good thing after all if then the models turn up then thats one thing less to worry about.

There was a site to list "NO SHOW" models but it's gone, I think. Any list is open to abuse by a producer/photographer if he just doesn't like a model. This has been discussed on every model forum on the net. Net Model has two forums where models can check out photographers and the other for the reverse. I can tell you from my own experience that models can be far bitchier then us mere males. I had to threaten legal action due to a couple of posts made about me, unless they were removed, which of course they were. These were made in reply to my comment about a model doing a no show on me, and I only asked if anyone else had this problem with her. The abuse I suffered in return was very nasty and untrue as I proved.

As I've said before... Word gets round very quickly about the models who have bad attitude on a set or do a no show and their work soon dries up I've had an agent moan to me about a model... So it's not just us on the production side of the industry... LOL.

There is this website but as Joe A said, iv had one photographer post 3 bad comments under different names as i couldnt make the shoot for a genuine reason.

If someone takes a dislike to someone else in the indutry for whatever reason, some people post bad reports for no particular reason which is a shame.
