Hello there everyone. Just wanted to ask a few questions about adult websites. My name is james and im starting a smoking fetish website in the new year and will hopefully go live in April, I have some great girls lined up for filming. I have designed the website myself and its looking good.

The website is going to be called www.creamysmoke.com and I am also making the website into a limited company.

The hosting is all taken care of etc and these questions below are the only things im not sure of:

1.) Do I need to have any licenses etc to do an adult website

2.) I am thinking of using ccbill to take payments on my website but I have noticed over the years that not many sites take switch or solo and that stopped me from joining many sites, I have noticed on the british sites on the links page on here can accept switch,solo,visa,mastercard etc but there is no name of the company that does this. Can anyone help me out on this one as I am not sure how this all works. Is there a program owners use to issue usernames and passwords?

3.) I have heard a lot of bad stories about photographers setting up official websites in the girls names, can I put a clause in the model release form so they can be sure that I won't do this as I want to put there minds at rest that I would not do that.

CCBill are #1 and look at as your secondary processor. They accept Solo and Switch cards.

If you need any contact details of people at either of these two, email me as I've built up good working relationships with both of them

For the rest of your questions:

1) no license needed

Model releases have negligible legal standing, to be perfectly honest... The photographer owns the content. Having said that, if you tried to sell your material, nobody would entertain it without signed model releases that cross reference to 2 photo IDs...

Yes, you can use a simple model release that you find anywhere - simply edit it for your own needs - i.e. put your own logo on there, names etc...

The photo ID's are critical though... Even if your moels are CLEARLY over the legal age you must till be able to produce documentation to prove it.

Sorry I checked the other websites on your list and I can see how you use ccbill and paycom. Do you mind me asking why you still use ccbill if paycom accepts the same cards and also is there a special program I would need to have them both handle my subscriptions?

I have more than one tour for SGD. The one in my sig is for the regular surfer and he can choose the procesor he wants. 99.999% go for CCBill as they are a higher profile name to the others. If a surfer gets rejected by one processor he gets sent to one of the others automaticly I've seen this happen a few times...

I have a second tour for SGD which is only for CCBill affiliates and as they make over 50% of sales, this tour only has CCBill on offer, but if they get rejected they still get sent to one of the others

I have 4 pay sites in total and my other top selling one is This was started back in 2001 and I only ever made the one tour for that and I would say that even though the surfer has a choice of processors there.. Again 99.999% of them choose CCBill. In fact nearly every sale for this site is from an affiliate
