WMP took about twenty minutes "buffering" the clip. I might just order the tape and do a spot of "buffering" myself. Why does WMP do that when Real One etc dont?

If you click on a link and it opens your media player and starts buffering (streaming).
Cancel it then RIGHT-click on the link and then choose 'Save Target As..' from the list. Then you can download it as a normal file to where ever on your computer you specify, usually your desktop .
