First time here so please pardon any mistakes , am an established "stills" photographer now looking to expand my business into the adult video market. Few questions to ask the established [and respected] people here .
1. Best way to advertise for reliable models , only doing girl-girl or solo girl work, can travel or accomodate .
2. Whos buying ? ... or how to contact the programme buyers for the adult channel or is there a central organisation buying new material for the adult satellite channels .
3. Whos hiring good camermen , with broadcast quality gear .

Hi Greg,
first off you will get very little (if any!) help from the 'established' people in the industry. The reason for this is too many 'dogs' fighting over an ever shrinking pie!
My advise is don't look at DVD as a main source of income, it's fast going the way of VHS and there are very few distributors that you can trust to be honest. Those that are, are not looking for 'new' directors.
Electronic media is the future and that is the direction you should be looking at (it's what I'm doing myself!). No big bucks to be made in the short haul, but if you want to be in it for the long run and have a reasonable cash reserve you could make it!
Best way to get new models, is trawl the internet and get out there and go up to girls in the street and just ask! It takes balls but if you sit back and wait for it to come to you you'll never get anywhere.
As far as the TV channels are concerned I've never bothered.
And not many established producers will be interested in using you because you could be competition to them in the future!

Thanks for that Johnny ,,, mmm here what your saying about the DVD market and already have a great adult website name , so better get on it !
Shame the TV people will not pay good money for new work as some of it is looking very tired indeed .
Anyways , advert already sorted for local papers and will go for it , still got my established clients n motorsport business to help keep the wolfs at bay ...
