Proud to be British

I was wondering if any of the British girls who have gone to Hollywood in the last couple of years, have decided to move there permanently?

Even the girls going now, do they still feel proud to be from this country?

Its just that I'm sick and tired of reading British actors and musicians saying in interviews, 'I'm so proud to be British, and they have either become a US citizen, or have lived there for years.

I can appreciate that America is the place to go, but you lose your national identity.

No matter how many ex-pats there are, or British-run 'pubs, or shops that sell goods from here.

Good luck to all the girls wherever they try their hand - the market in the uS is so much bigger than in the UK. Frankly, you can also live in the US for years and still be a true Brit - did I ever tell you about the bloke I know who lives and in the US but flies home to every home game of his fav footy team. Mind you, he is a nutter...

I gotta say...would any of you consider yourself anything other than a brit just cos you lived in another country...think about it Davros...whatever nationality you are, would you think about yourself differently if you didnt live in that country? I very much doubt it. If being a brit means having to live here and earning ?300 or less rather than over $1000 a time for the same thing over there your sadly sadly mistaken!

It doesn't matter where you're born...we ALL come from the same place (and that includes ANY other life-form in the Universe) so we're all related to one another...now that's something to celebrate!!
