advice on rates

Are there any girls that are in the adult industry that do boy/girl that could give me some advice on rates as ive been asked for a quote and ive just left him hanging because none of my industry friends can be arsed to get back to me and give me some kind of indication of rates!

I kinda need this advice TODAY! lol

?250-?300 can be charged for up to 4 hours work (half a day) with no bum fun.

With bum fun ?350 ish. I'm going on what i've charged and what we've paid girls in the past. As they're not paying an agent as well and coming to you direct i'd say go for ?300 and if they dont want to pay that then negotiate...it keeps everyone happy

The standard (minimum) rates which all members of UK Adult Producers have agreed to pay in 2007 for female models is as follows:

g/g - ?250
b/g - ?300
b/g + A - ?350
b/g + DP - ?400- ?450

I assume them rates JayK are per scene, but how many hours would be expected to be acceptable for a scene?

Hey Lola, my advice would be decide what you'd be willing to do the work for, then add a little bit to it and quote it (that way by going slightly over what you'd be willing to do it for will leave room for negotiation you'd be happy with).

On the matter of rates, there seems to be an increasing trend with models advertising and offering incredibly low rates just now, Kayleigh Kassidy for instance is doing toys continental for 25ph and there are loads of girls doing 3 hours ?100 all in deals. Just wondering what the thoughts are on this, what everybody thinks whether this trend downwards is going to continue and what the reason for it is, are the pros lowering what they pay or still paying the same.

seeing as the biz is a bit quiet at the moment i would think that any rates were negotiable. If producers want to pay different rates (as not all can afford to pay top dollar) then you have to be negotiable Ms Flame.

Jim and I pay what we can afford to pay, bearing in mind we film week in, week out and we have a budget to stick to. So if you want some more work ms flame check out jimslip.com and mail me if you're interested.

Also, as a female performer I want to decide my own rates. I will work for less if the shoot is going to be fun. But if the scene is going to be less fun and 6hours long then i'll charge a bit more. I want to be the master of my own destiny.

Rates are a very grey area, I know from experience in my own productions and content that I try and pay the best the budget will allow, but occassionally I might have to pay slightly under and ask for a favour, particularly when I have had to add an extra scene because one didn't come out quite how I liked, then I do remember who has helped and will use them in other shoots.

I have to mention a special guy here Sensi, who helped me out at such short notice on one shoot that he was the first guy I then cast on my next shoot and will continue to use him when I can, due to his committment first time round which meant alot.
