I am on TV this week!

Hello peeps

One of my friends is a TV director and just before Christmas he roped me into doing some extra work for a program he was working on. The show is called ?The Good Samaritan? and it stars Shane Richie and one of the girls from No Angels.

I am in two scenes both set in a building society. Firstly when the woman from No Angels walks out, I am the person who walks behind her, then I am writing a cheque inside behind Shane Richie when they tell him all the money has been withdrawn from his account. I am the tall skinhead chap wearing a black jacket trying not to look at the camera.

It is on this Wednesday at 9pm, I know it is the same time as the apprentice, but flick over now and again to see me on my small screen debut. I was on set from 8am ? 6pm and my total screen time is about 4 seconds. I did however get lots of free food from the catering van.

Being an extra is OK money, I think it is about ?8-9 an hour. To be honest I didn't do it for the money, it was because I was asked by a mate. Believe me when I say I wouldn't be in a disused car park on the outskirts on Manchester a 6:30am in December for ?9 an hour!

My direct mate is called Paul McGavin, his name will be on the credits.
