O/T Careers Advice

Hello Everyone, first post.
I am a twenty year old, second year, undergraduate studying Internet Systems. I have spent a lot of time messing about with design and am curently doing clever things with databases, my favourite area of the subject. In my third and final year I will be studying streaming video and other media delivery methods. As a young man I, obviously, have an interest in the adult entertainment industry (or however you wish to refer to it) and was looking for advice from anyone on what makes one graduate of more use to the industry than another.

I have been following the forum for several months and have been regularly posting to the akanadia forum in case anyone recognises the name. I hope that I can tap someones brains over this matter, Cheers.

I cant imagine why being a graduate would endear you to work in the porn undustry.
It,s a while since I left college, but as far as I can remember we didn,t take HNC,s in double penetration, well! not in the class anyway.Thing is, porn is similar to the music business, of which I am very familiar, it,s very often a question of helping friends, who you know etc, and like most business,e adult entertainemnt is about making money, so your degree would be better in marketing/accountancy/business studies, as apposed to media studies which the world and his wife are doing at the moment.
My advice for what it,s worth! get out of media studies, and study Law, youll soon find out which is more useful to the porn industry, a person who can upload media to a website, or someone who can keep you out of prison/bankrupcy etc.
