i'm just wondering if you are getting 'porn star' mixed up with 'porn actress'. to be a 'star' in any field of entertainment must mean that people have heard of you.

having said that, if a 'newcummer' does her first video and everyone immediately starts talking about her, then i suppose she would be then known as a 'porn star'.

Nope the porn star is just as same as an porn actress. Anyone who has made a few films and keeps on make a couple after a period of time and also stars in top shelf stuff is then only classed as a true porn starlet.

I've been in the business a few years and instead of Porn Star, I call myself a "High Priestess Performer of Sexual Eroticism on Celluloid". I think this sounds much grander, the only problem is I can't fit my business card in my handbag.
