HOWEVER, I am attempting to rescue the fair(?) maiden from his celtic clutches and should I succeed, then you will be in with a chance - simply because I will auction her off to the highest bidder with a reserve fee of ONE MILLION sterling, which is a bargain in any man's language.
With the proceeds, I shall enter into an arrangement with JW distillery whereby their finest produce is delivered directly to my couch by a comely wench in a kilt (nothing else, just a kilt).

and a mighty steed who shall not falter at Hadrians Wall, bestrode as he is by a bald-headed knight in the face of the Auld Enemy who are all HAIRY - not necessarily on the bonce, but THE REST of the Celtic Corpus -Whew.
However, my mission shall continue from the Gorbals to the groin.
