I recently realised that some of the e-mails people were sending me had been ending up in my Junk e-mail folder insetad of my inbox. This empties itself every week so by the time I had noticed I had missed quite a few. I found out last week that ********** had been among these missed e-mails. I would like to say that this was a genuine mistake and that although this is a fair representation of my lack of common sence, it does not reflect well on my reliability as a model - something I hope everyone I have been lucky enough to work with would be willing to back me up on.

I am new to the indusrty and feel I am alowed to make one real mistake even if it is a bit of a thick one. To answer your other two grevences.

- the reason I did not apporch you after visitng your web site is that after seeing your trash whores stuff I didnt feel that you would be willing to offer me anything I would feel comfortable doing, I do enjoy submisive work but felt the levels you work at would be out of my comfort zone.

-the reason I did not seek out your e-mail address after I found out that I have missed your e-mail was that the producer who had approched me on your behalf said he woud relay my appologys to you himself.

I hope that this has cleared up a horrible misunderstanding, I would hate anyone to get the wrong idea about me, I am a hard working model and being new to the industry would hate to get a bad name over something so silly.

If anyone else has sent me an e-mail in the last few months and hasnt got a reply it will have been for the same reason. I am really sorry and if you have the time and patience to mail me again I will get back to you asap.

This is a problem I've noticed with email traffic generated via my own website, and something all models/producers seeking work should should be aware of.

If your email address or any website links within your signature suggest content of an adult nature, please bear in mind it's likely that your correspondence will be marked as "spam" mail!

The list is endless on why they are sent to the spam bin.

If you have your own domain, you need ensure your server reuires secure auth to send mail, if it doesnt its instantly tagged open relay and a spam pot, You also need to get a valid SPF record added to your DNS and then you need to get your domain listed with some of the biggest senders.

If you have links in the email, and you use html to tag them, ensure the tag text matches the link, more than about 5 links to different sites is a disaster.

Theres 100 things you need to do to get email thru, which is why alot of people pay someone else to do it, or give up.

Everyone should check them, altho it is easy to forget tho as I do all the time.

Just to put my twopennyworth in - Masie is indeed, as she says, a hard-working and reliable model.

I have known her for about 3 months and would have no qualms about booking her for a shoot again and again.

This problem doesn't just happen with you hun.

I've had a few and deleted them without looking purely because they have gone into my spam box for some reason only to realise while I am clicking delete the name wasn't spam.

It's even worse than you think.

I gather that now some of the ISPs run systems that block spam flagged email before it even gets to you.

So it doesn't even appear in your spam folder.

And at one point a bunch of US ISPS simply stopped accepting ALL email routed through one UK ISP because so many of it's users were infected by a bot spewing spam.

Also ISPs are now installing botnet detection/blocking software, which will affect your emails if you run an infected machine. (It seems to be really hard to find out if you are infected, and many people are, because bots don't do much to your machine, just hijack your spare bandwidth).

I have greylisting and FMX switched on via my host provider and these work a treat. I would suggest that all host providers should provide this service as I get no spam email.

I could also have anitspam switched which requires all who email me to reply to a standard message before it delivers their email.

Everyone has deleted or missed important emails lost in the sea of spam we can receive. To me it seems like a dis-proportionate responce, although I realise **********'s rant wasn't entirely down to your mistake. Masie has my sympathy and best wishes

Are you human tests

My host offers it but I don't use it because I have had some of them get spam flagged, which raises the prospect of asking everyone if they are real, but then not seeing that they are because your "are you real" ends up in their spam box.

Email is imperfect, and no one should complain about emails being ignored because all too often its the systems. The only mail that seems reliable is stuff from people where previous two way mails exist.
