We are just starting to do this now, We ask the model to agree to the shoot contract if they dont then we dont book. Its a two way thing, if we pull the plug with no notice then we are liable for costs the model incurs.

Two weeks ago a friend of mine lost close to ?1000 when a girl rang 45 mins before the shoot to say she felt ill. The guy had to be paid, hotel costs and camera hire.

There does need a change in attitude from producers and models and a realisation of the costs and time involved.
