O/T Violation of Aurora Snow and Kazaa

Post by Scott Jism »

This topic was mentioned on here some while ago and if memory serves either jj/Lizard was trying to download it using pedal power and had something like 3 months left. In light of it winning an AVN award for best all girl film I thought I'd have a dabble at it but it mentions you need Codec Node reactor or something so before I proceed into a potentially fruitless exercise does anyone know what software you actually need to dl it properly.

Dunno about all that bollocks. Although I did download the Bumper Boy's Big Book of Codecs following advice from wiser heads here......and I can now play more of these files than before. Still have trouble with rars, though.......
Wasn't me, anyway: the Lacertine One is I believe still in the Stone Age, whereas I am now happily ensconced in the Iron Age.

RAR files are not movie files and therefore there is no codec or such which will open them - they are simply compressed files similar to zip files.

You need a program called Winace to open them which is available for download FOC at

Once you open them you should be left with a movie file (mpg, wmv etc) and then you can start worrying about codecs!

I sent the movie to Lizard as I couldn't bear to watch him suffering. Anyhow, I watched it without a problem. I have both Nimo and Ace codec packs installed. It plays on WMP, PowerDVD, WinDVD, NV DVD, etc. Hope that helps.

Cheers: I had downloaded WinRAR, but it didn't seem to work.

How the fack do you get MPG files to play in colour? I have both Real-Player and Windows Media Player that play MPG files in black and white only! I have loads of codecs and DivX installed and all the latest software but still no colour! Any other things I need to download and install to solve this problem? Thanks, Boobie!
