Yeah it matters as its sort of brand recognition.

I mean would Sony care if you bought a TV took the badge off and renamed it 'Blunderland Bravia' then resold it on ebay ? (yeah extreme example but I can't be bothered writting a better example).

I think if a girl is trying to build 'her brand' then yeah the name in important, also a little more important if you have your own site as its slicing a chunk of your marketting out.

im guilty too. one girl whose shot for me numerous times changes her name every other week. i just put her down by her real name in the credits as i know thats not gonna change. shes never complained.

Why dont you post here as Elizabeth Michelle Lawrence, instaid of 'EML'?

For example, Cathy Barry dosnt post as 'CB'
Angel Long dosent post as 'AL'
Lolly Badcock dosent post as 'LB'...

Why? Because they HAVE built up their names, and as such they use their 'brand' names to post...

OK, so people use their correct names when crediting them in movie... And they use their correct names when posting... But you use EML...

Without being funny, could that be because Elizabeth Michelle Lawrence is such a long ass name that YOU YOURSELF are tempted to shorten it ?

Anyway, on a side note, are you aware that the pics and descriptions on the first page inside your website are all screwed up?

Snow Patrol & Terry are right with what they have said, when Johns doing titles for our films its very annoying to do long names as they Jumble the screen. I have always kept the name Kim even though there are thousands of them & people still know me, if your famous / infamous people will know you anyway whatever your name is but you could always try taking your own model releases stipulating that you really need to be know under your full name & see what they say.
