Hi,
can I just make a correction to what I posted

" my forum does have to be private I want people to read to it, visitor or members"

that should be doesnt have to be private, all the threads I mentioned are free to read by anyone, but I'd like people to join so they can comment on the good and bad if you have something to say.

The APG room that is hidden is the only private room just for a group of trusted UK producers, to chat and pass on models contacts to each other.

The main point of the forum and the point of this post is anyone can read it as I want it to be a resource of information for people, but for people who register producers/photographers/Models can have there say.

Keep asking Totty to post about it, but he hasnt as of yet

Paul

Sorry, maybe i havent gotten accross what i was trying to say very well.

the work she is doing is casual - ie; no fixed schedule and there is no contract so neither party have any real rights. you would have to argue a verbal contract in court but lets not go on about court cases hey. i know u arent saying thats what ur actually going to do.

Im just repeating what the CAB told me whan i had a complaint against a TV station who booked me for shift work. As they put it i have the right to leave without notice as much as they have the right to cancel all my shifts and never re book me.

Generally speaking all moels work on a casual basis unless they get contracted to BB or club jenna. doesnt mean were not professional ie; its our main ocupation.

Wow Sandie... your way off base I am afraid, you can put on yoru rilly knickers and fight the good cause of the model... but what your stating is wrong !

When a photographer hires a model there is an agreement to work... just like when someone hires a bricklayer to build a wall... its a verbally binding contract between two people... a business agreement...

Now the first time the model let me down, because of her unproffessional behavior she cost me and my COMPANY money, by breaking the contract we had and not turning up time and money was lost... if I had wanted to be an ass I could of dragged her into court... hey maybe I should and set a president, so models suddenly realise it isnt cool to just decide you dont want to work that day...

I think models forget cause most of them dont pay TAX on what they earn, cause they like it CASH IN HAND that there isnt any contract... maybe that promotes the cavalier attitude in these so called proffessionals...

The first time she let me down there were two other proffesional performers at my studio and they said this was typical behaviour for her... so I am sure its no shock to most now they know who it was... I am sure her reputation is plenty tarnished... alas she will still get work off of certain people... but she wont get it off me, and I will make sure I tell everyone I know how she as acted...

Hi Paul

While I respect you have a forum have you also thought about joining ? You have been a producer for awhile now I've noticed. Just a suggestion.

Theres a whole bunch of producers there and it wouldbe nice to have more since we all have the same common problems.

Hi One Eyed Jack,
I have never considered it no, for the simple reason I didnt think I was at that status yet, while I am a professional and fully certed and produce for online content bla bla bla I thought it was for people who have content in lisenced sex shops, I.E VHS and most recently DVD.

I know a producer that has been around a hell of alot longer than me and has his own online content, who I wish to be as successful and he was turned down from joining. I may have this totally wrong but if this person got turned down, I didnt fancey my changes much. Or have I got it way wrong. I am a member of the site but cant get into the locked room.

But thanks for pointing that out, its a nice thought

Legal Binding Agreements and Verbal Contracts

In order to form a contract, the parties must agree on what either party will do under the terms of the contract; they must have the intention to form contractual relations; and there must be consideration. It is immaterial whether the contract is verbal, in writing, or partially verbal and partially written, although common sense says that recording the agreement in writing creates a document that may be referred to for its terms in the event of a dispute between the parties.
