documentary for Current TV on sex and money

I have been commissioned by a TV station called Current TV, to produce a variety of 3-7 minute long documentaries on the subject of sex and money and am looking to do a few pieces about how the porn industry is changing.

For my documentaries, I am looking to talk to contributors who work within the industry. I would then arrange to interview relevant contributors as well as filming people doing their jobs, be it performing over the internet, talking on the phone or even packaging DVD's.

If anyone would like to know a little about me. I am a Producer/Director who has worked on programmes for BBC, Channel 4, Sky One and MTV. unfortunately not. I don't have a budget to pay contributors. This would be free subtle marketing however by having additional exposure within my film.

If your directir is getting a fee and everyone else on the crew....then pay the people that your show is based upon.

We are fed up on this forum of tv companies coming to us,expecting us to want our '5 mintes of fame' for no fee, whilst the director is definately getting one. well tell him//her to slash his/her feeand pay the rest of us too.

I've had more than 5 mins of fame without being ridiculed with a slow condescending voice over from a bloke who doesnt know toffee or give a shit about our industry except for, guess what....collecting his fee at the end of the voiceover job!!!!!!

Why do you docco producers never have a budget for contributors? Is anyone else involved working for free?

This just about sums up what many think about these work for free for my profit making enterprise requests.

Unlike the others, I'm well up for you telly- toffs to wantonly, humiliate, degrade and otherwise abuse me at your leisure!

I understand that you all have Range Rovers to fuel and those school fees are simply crippling. So naturally I would not bring up the subject of fees! How squalid to even mention the idea, please forgive me!
