Yes you could definitly film enough content to launch your own website with that money!!

Alternativley you could email me about one of the individual and niche projects that I have on the ideas table and put that money behind me!! haha!

Looking forward to it Nick!!

(Ok I am holding my breath!... hurry up!!)

Yes, you could, but...
It's also the easiest way in the world to lose money.
Well, that and putting it all on Hull City to win the league.

Check out the long term producers for advice as its so easy to lose money in this game, never spend what you can't recoupe e.g. in say in a two month period. Start small, use your pennies wisely & look on Terry's site for fair rates for models etc so you don' get fleeced, feel free to contact us (we don't want your pennies) if you want to & if we can't help we will put you in touch with genuine people that can.

Recoup your money in two months ??? Sorry Kim but there isnt many businesses where you recoup your money in two months... well unless your investing a ?10...

I have just invested over ?30,000 in my new website project... it includes 9 new websites (soon to be 10) I have shot for it over the last year, even after finishing the shoots it will take me a further 3 months to design and develope the sites... expected launch early September.

Then the hard bit starts... promoting the sites, getting them out there and getting traffic to the sites... realistically that will take 3 months to really kick in...

When do I expect to see my ?30k back... proberly within 12-18 months, if its sooner then all good :)

Assuming we are talking about a web based business, I remember somone asking The Hun this question. He said, lock yourself in a cupboard for a year getting traffic and use the twenty grand for food and rent.

Haha! yeah thats what I'm sayin in a round about way, lol!!

RGB knows the score, I'm sure puretotty you do too, but the web game on a serious level is a little more than a 2 month turn around.

Ok back in my AW days when I wasnt spending out hardly anything for content and of course everything I made was a profit... erm in shitty AW credits! lol! Oh and minus the 30%. Well them days yeah I could be sure of a fast turn around.

Anyway the offer of contacting me was a half joke as although I dont think many people would turn down a 20K investor, but I do have a few ideas up my sleeve that are just waiting for that cash injection to get rolling. Not totally convinced if I would share them as it is though.

Anyways, the important thing IMHO Nick is to find a very niche or individual idea that will stand you apart from the over flooded market out there and give you a good start at making it a success online.

Then as RGB says work on how you are going to generate traffic or, have a great presentation to one of the big internet networks to take in your project!

Here is a 'genuine' good luck mate,

Keni

Ps. Hull city is prob not a good option! lol!

Uncle Dave,

Well at the moment regarding shoots, I am managing to find time to squeeze in to shoot 4 scenes per month for my own stuff and on top of that I haven't shot anything in the UK as yet!

When I do come over, which will be soon btw, I would love to use you mate! I got your number if your still on the same one.

Quick plug... anyone who doesn't know Mr Dave Wells should know that he is a very experienced, almost over qualified and capable camera guy, with years and yeeears of industry knowledge and also an ex-performer!

There ya go boss! lol! But I fear the cost of your talents would probably stretch beyond what I'm paying my guy out here, a couple of euros and a pint of beer sound alright!?

!grin!
