Big Al i think there was a site that specialised in no shows.

If its something you really believe in then set one up. Or moderate one yourself.

Thats how things are done. No one will take it upon themselves.

How do you ensure the information posted is true and accurate, and not just some made up story by a disgruntled girl looking for payback/revenge?

Accusations made about people who have no knowledge of them and no right to reply are a very dangerous thing.

thats a very valid point peter.

i have set out in the rules of the forum that the girls can talk freely about anything but that anoyone found posting untrue information will be banned.

the aim of the site is to increase model safety and imho i would rather have the occassional disgruntled photographer/agency/producer (not that they will ever know they are being discussed) than something bad happening to a model.

there will be NO accusations on the forum only details of actual events as detailed by the model in question.

But how do you know the details are accurate?

There was one very stupid model last year who posted on an open forum that if the photographer didn't send her the CD of pics he owed her, she was going to claim he'd tried to sexually assault her.

How would a claim like that be handled on a closed forum? Would the photographer be made aware such a claim had been made? Does he have a right to reply?

I'm not trying to knock your idea, its just there are a lot of problems with "name and shame" posts, especially 'secret' ones.

Peter if it gets out of hand I'm sure it will be looked into and validated.

Accusing photographers of assault and rape would warrant automatically going to the police and getting medically checked out their way unless a girl fist fucks herself and makes herself bleed then I would say she was a potential psycho that required psychiatric help then everyone should be warned about her.

In short, its a possibility and also highly unlikely.

Let the girls cross that bridge if they get to it eh?

Lets not forget S**** J*** shall we? That whole episode was kept a lid on but dealt with.

It shouldnt have happened in the first place if the girls warned each other effectively.

I'm just concerned that unfounded allegations arising from minor situations or simple misunderstandings, where the person complained about has no knowlegde of the complaint, or the ability to present their side of the story, can affect someone's business quite seriously. Probably as I've been a victim of it in the past.

A simple "Beware, this guy messes you about,I travelled for 3 hours to a shoot, only for him to send me straight home without any pay"

could look bad, until you read the reply of

"She was sent home because, despite being reminded several times, and warned the shoot would not take place without them, she turned up without ID or certs"

Peter I heard you the first time.

If anything bad is said about someone then usually they will find out about it before long I'm sure.

You make this sound all about you. It could be about me or anyone else too.
