OR...You could support models and producers in getting the certs online project on the go.

All this make a stand stuff is not going to work unless forums comply to it and they will not because of legal and moral obligations.

Post up about a fake cert and name names and it will be pulled so fast you'll be thinking..was that what I thought it was???

Whose word are you going to take if someone pipes up about it? Your suggestion could lead to major problems and wild accusations flying around especially if someone wanted to be malicious.

..and we all know how rumours can get out of control now dont we?

The only way i see this working is for the whol eindustry to unite on making the certs online project work.

One uniform standard for everyone to verify tests knowing that it isi authenticated and managed by the clinics.

One Eyed jack has a very good point. This argument goes to support the fact that there needs to be some kind of database in order to verify up to date certs of all models.

Has to a certified database by a controlling body.

I don't agree with just posting up names as the person who has had there name posted up can then say all world of crap just to get revenge.

On the database side of things, how would you gain access? I don't think it being in the public forum is a good idea as some performers would prefer to keep their profession to themselves.

Who decides who can have access??

Answers on a postcard please.

Not sure how to work which post is 101 but here goes.

Are you saying that you have a password just to your own results?

If so, that makes a lot of sense and I can't see any downside.

Have you managed to get any organisation to run the site?

What are the guarantees for performers if the certs aren't viewable? Site error or server failure ec etc.

Kelly H and William G..Good questions to put to the docs (though I think they are watching anyway LOL).

The clinics are in charge of the website building. All those participating will have their own unigue id number which you allow a specific window of time to view. In otherwords if your number is abused and gets out it wont work unless yo uhave given someone permission to view it.

If they miss that window (which could bew a half day or a whole day) then they have to request permissio to see it again...Wel that option was presnted fromone of the two clinics anyway. There may be a variation on this from the second. I dont want to say which one yet because it would reflect my own bias. The industry needs to decide en masse.

Kelly youve got me on the what guarantees question but I would think any site is down for a period of time should give you plenty of time to view results before booking someone I think but I will get the clinics official answer on this come December 5th.

We've already thought how this works with those going to industry approved clinics versus ones that don't and logic dictates that people will not want to work with others whom they cannot see their results if theirs can be seen.

Im sure many amateur producers will be ok working with the present system of NHS certs and they have every right to do so but for those who want to be confident and sure will go for a clinic that is part of the scheme for that extra peace of mind.

Producers can enforce this but I think this attitude is wrong. No one can tell performers how to conduct their lives and how they deal with their health. Its up to the models if they want it to happen and the response has been a landslide of support for this change.

The rest will just fall into place and become a de facto standard like 30 day testing is now.
