I think the best way of viewing is each performer has a unique Id that could be their screen name and a PIN number. Their current Cert can be viewed by anyone that both. Of course they can update their PIN at anytime. The big problem with viewing "windows" would be for last minute bookings. Model is ill and needs to be replaced.

Maybe a ?20 fee per year to cover the costs could be introduced? I am sure no one would have an issue of paying 40p a week for their sexual health. There would also be a fund that could compensate performers if the servers are down, error in cert info etc etc.

This databse has to be ultra professional to work properly!!

This scheme is going to cost a lot ot get off the ground and the clinics are willing to fund this but they need to know that the adult industry in the UK even wants it.

I cant disclose figures at this stage because Ive been asked not to until all this is confirmed but it is going to ocst considerably more than ?20 per year!

Everything costs money to run and we cant expect the clinics to do this for free.

What scenario was you thinking about as an error on a cert William. Its quite possible. It is human to err.

Errors on a cert is as real now let alone this new scheme and I've been told that ht econcern about the database is already in effect already as your details are already on a database the moment you get tested anyway.

Here in lies the problem.

How much do you propose to charge performers on top of the normal testing fees?

How much does a directory based site cost to build?

How many clinics per county are going to be on this scheme?

It doesn't matter if there are errors already, if you propose to charge people a fee on top of testing, you have to offer a guarantee on the site!
Ie: Model has to be employed at last minute due to illness and server is down or it could potentially delay a whole days shoot for a whole company.

Are performers still going to be issued paper certs? But does that defeat the object?

How about a pay per view system? You have to pay to look at the cert? That way, the more successful performers will pay more. Would be a very fair way of doing it.

The site has to be very user friendly for it to work.

There lies another issue.

You get the world and its dog bitching and moaning on here but when it comes to actually doing something about it, they do sod all.

It is a real shame as it is OUR business and we should all take pride in it.
