I'm off there first thing on 07 Jan.Hoping to do some filming in the city 12-14 Jan.Anyone else going?

It looks as if some big exhibitors(eg Score Group) are staying away this year.

Report from the front!

Larry Flint's call for financial help for the Adult Industry in US,has certainly drawn a lot of publicity to the Show.There is no doubt that some exhibitors have grasped the new financial reality.On the other side,website numbers from some of the big US operators are down between 5-15%,which is reasonable in the present climate.

Talent costs in US are reducing rapidly.Topline female models are now being quoted at $200/scene-dependent upon content-by their agents! Also the crunch over here,has brought a lot of new female talent onto the market.However agents keen to control their costs,are not taking all of them on their books.For example,I encountered a 40 year old women at my hotel,new in the market,who tells me that lots of her female friends are keen to work.The lady herself was stunning.That's what happens when you avoid 'agents'

The bottom line here is that if adult buinesses are run by proper business people,who understand numbers,then those businesses will survive.Most of the exhibitors here need a severe reality check(or cheque!!)
