producer advice needed
Hi
I am looking to get into the business as a producer but want to see if its worthwhile without splashing out my hard-earned for little or no return , i am currently a semi-pro tog and have a fair bit of experience with amatuer models but am looking to incorparate video now and hopefully set-up a subscription based website so am needing any advice on costs involved to get it up & running and what kind of returns i could expect if it proves popular
thanks in advance
cheers

Depends entirly upon what you aim to produce... B/G and go up against EVERY B/G site out there?
Forget it!
But...
Micro-niche? YEAH... Absol-fucking-lutly!!!

These are very rickety times for new investments but if you believe hwt you have to offer is special then go do it but Ive laways said you stand better chance if you can find new exceptionally good looking girls but Snow Patrols right..You are going up agains the hundreds of thousands of sites that are already ahead of you.

Re: producer advice needed
and he's me starting to miss the life and thinking about returning, but if newbies are being told to not bother maybe i should stay away, or the fact that I am establised already does that make it different??????
It is still possible to make money just whether you want to take the risk
If everyone thought about how many other site are out there no one would ever come into the industry ever again. If you believe in yourself then have a go. They way I look at it if you have a niche you can attract others to come to your site for that reason only, as some people just jump from site to site looking for a certain type of style, depends how you market it.
Best of look

Re: producer advice needed
Hi,
The only advice i would give you is to do what you feel is right for you. If you believe in yourself, then go for it. Earnings will not come overnight and it takes a great deal of hard work. I was lucky enough to get out of the industry for a while, a year in total, and re-think. I am now out in Asia and once again enjoying what i am doing. Maybe this is down to the fact i am doing new stuff, new girls, all new ball game compared to the UK, its exciting and i believe i am building something good out here.
There will always be different opinions, especially from UK producers, but anyone who has something to offer our industry should be made welcome.
I was part of the UKAP at the beginning but my opinions and the way i felt it should be handled were not always met with open arms, i dont believe in "secret societies" i believe in open debate, free for all to express an opinion and everyone to share ideas and increase the credabilty of the UK porn industry, in seven years now i have seen no change, still individuals, everyone going about their business the way they always have.
If you are willing, and can afford to take a chance, then take it, but you are on your own.

Re: producer advice needed
It cant be that secret if everyone knows about it Darren. I dont see any other association discussing their business on here...Like AITA, David Sullivan or any other producer or productions company.
Just wondered what the relevance was of making out UKAP is some secret society. There are plenty other sites that you have to join that are password protected and you have to apply.
If I remember right you were one of those who wanted an awards system in place and it came into being from one other member who went lone sniper on it all. So not sure what you mean that your ideas were not met with open arms. Perhaps you can elaborate since you brought it up.
Glad to hear things are going well for you in Asia though.
