Help Needed with Video Conversion

Hi,
I need some help and advice regarding some video footage we have. It is currently on an external hard drive. It was shot on a Sony HD cam and the files on the drive are placed in BPAV and then CLPR folders. Each CLPR folder contains mpeg-4 and various files including XML.
If there is someone that already uses similar camera or is aware of the format and can convert the footage onto DVD or DV please let me know.
