If interested, I'm thinking of selling a couple of camcorders, Canon XM2 and/or Panasonic NV-MX300

I've shot quite a lot with an EX-1. Great pictures. And really good slow and fast motion should you want. Worth every penny of its ?4500 price tag. SxS cards are a bit steep, though cheaper alternatives are now appearing.

A colleague has a Panasonic 3CCD top-end domestic miniDV camcorder now maybe 4 years old. I recall model is something like NV-GS250.

It may well be great in outdoors or very good indoor lighting but useless in lower light like filming (officially not covert) in a theatre as it struggles to focus. A 8 year old Panasonic NV-GX7 with 1.2MP image sensor and Leica optics is far better in that situation.

They are probably the best picture per pound that I have used. Yes the cards are pricey but I take my MacBookPro out with me which has the card slots built in and the transfer time is pretty quick so it is not a huge hassle to reuse the cards. I fancy an EX-3 but that is quite a few quid more.... !sad!
