A Plea for Peace

After reading a number of recent posts on this forum some off which have been quickly removed by the moderators, may i add a outsiders view.

From a number of the recent posts from certain individuals it looks like once again all people wish to do is slag some of the other contributors off.
Would it not be better to send the person or persons you have a grievance with a individual email instead of airing their dirty linin in public be it true or not true. Only the people involved would know that.

Unfortunately the forum is beginning to look like the so called down market Sunday papers

I am the first to agree that if a model has been attacked or some other serious offence has occurred that it should be brought to the readers notice if only has a warning for others.

May i say that this is not the only forum that this occurs. in fact it was common at one time on another well known modelling site forum.

Sorry to have put a serious post on the forum but i thought it should be said.

Do give it a rest! I have never spoken to nor met Nikonman. I would suggest you do a search on your posts on the Promotions forum and as far as I can see the majority of them are crude, insulting, full of innuendo and distasteful whether these people are professionals, semi-professionals, photographers or models.

Nikonman, you are right. There is too much slagging off and I admit that my reply to Be-Seen-here was insulting in itself. I also remember having a go at SimonD on the forum because I knew how much one of his posts about boob jobs had really upset a model. I regret that to a certain extent.

But at times when I see a never-ending stream of bile being published like the stuff that comes from BSH, I feel it is right not to leave it without any reply.

Mmmm... On the one hand, i totally agree with Nikonman-and do find it sad when people cant get along ( Cue Coke ad " Id like to teach the World to Sing"... etc... I would always rather get along with someone, even if we dont agree on someting-its all good,surely....... On the other hand, as an open forum and especially personally, as i know hardly anyone ,or anything #re the Biz, i find Said discussions both illuminating and informative-quite valuable if its costing me time and money surely..... That said,let the facts speak for themselves..... just keep it nice !happy!xxx

Be-Seen-Here,
I know you will not believe this or do not wish to believe this but the post was not particularly meant to be getting at you.
In fact it was in response to a couple of posts slagging off a couple of the models who post on here, both of which posts the moderators have now removed over the last few days.

I have no wish to fall out with you or anyone else for that matter.
In fact i would prefer to withdraw my original post than do that.

By the way i have not spoken or had contact with the person who you think instigated the original post for many weeks now.
