old school work

Hello for those of you who dont know me, I would be Masie Dee (or Fucking Masie Dee as my ego now tends to refer to myself)

As people who watch my posts will know, despite my obvious love of my job - I have been a porn star (I love that term it makes me feel special) for nearing two years now, I hate the admin that comes with it and recently it has been really getting to me again !!!

So my question is this- Do old school agents exist in our bussiness any more? I am on a few sites and occasionally get work from a couple of agents who I in no way wish to upset with this post. However because these companies have many many girls on there books, its a case of, if the work comes along that im right for then they will call me, they are not seeking work that will suit me. Are there any companies out there, what ever % they may ask, who like an acting agent push your picture about activly seeking work on your behalf?

Now I know alot of people will be sat reading this thinking, 'fucking lazy cow you can easily be doing all this yourself', but I honestly dont think I can and this is turning into a bit of a do or die situation. (how dramatic) Im no longer earning enough from this job and the frustrating thing is I know its not because I cant do the work side of it, infact to be very big headed I think im the best at sex I have ever been (ask the boys at adult live)!

But I feel a bit like im sat on the gate of life at the mo (cheesey metaphores will end soon but everyone on BGAFD always says pictures improve a post so im proving that your advise is taken on bored if nota bit to literally)

Thats it really (thankyou for reading if you made it all the way down to this point). Oh in other news weathers been pants so we now have a field full of mud at the yard instead of grass so if anyone fancies some naked mud wrestling now could be the opportune moment to ask.

Well I can say you do give 110% in a shoot (even if you did keep looking at your reflection in my telly.. lol!)
Seriously, it's good you mastered the art of posting a photo or 2...
The only advise I can give is you gotta plug to be found... Unfortunately as I found trying to get a career in music many years ago, folks rarely come looking for you (as they won't know you)... The only people who do are here, and if and when they read your plugin' posts.

But try Elle at Blue Diamond agency if you are not already on her books, get on in there... - ok I dunno how she'll plug you but it's in her interest to offer girls out for work...

Most of the proper agencies died out due to the short-sightedness and greed of many models and producers, who used them as a one-time introduction service, then booked direct next time to avoid paying the agent their percentage.

I couldn't count the number of times a model has said "can you book me direct next time, save me paying the agents fee?"

I never did, as the ?30-50 the agent got was invaluble for the service they provided, unfortunately many did, and it leaves us in the dire situation we find ourselves in now.

Also Peter raises a good point - legit agents struggling to exist give rise to every idiot with a computer setting up as an "Agent"....... i have had four supposed "Agents" all put me forward for a job with someone who, if they had asked me/done their job properly, i could have told them NO, this company have already shot me and they want NEW faces!! ........ You will not find this with Elle and recommend you contact her... all the best masie xxx

I think I've had you put forward as a brand new model 3 times in the last month or so by the "bloke with a bit of webspace" agencies, too!

Thanks for your responses guys, as always you have all brought a smile to my face. Without meaning to make sex weird for anyone, the British porn world really is like one big family (mostly happy) its one of the things that makes the job so lovely. Will try everything suggested. In mean time if anyone wants an exclusive model on their books (by which I realy mean does anyone want to take me on as a solo project) give me a buzz x x x x
