Please observe the rules of the new forum before making a post please.
This forum shoul be used exclusively for reporting no show models and time wasting producers who fail to make good on their bookings and those defending themselves and/ or those who have had similar experiences.

We also recogbise that models and producers may have a good reason for their inability to turn up and therefore are entitled to a right of reply to defend themselves.

This forum is also a source of reference to those deciding on whether to work with those models/ producers or not.

Ive already heard comments from people refusing to use this service. Well you are not obligated to but its there if you want to reduce this sort of thing from happening in future because silence only allows it to continue.

A bit harsh dont you think? C'mon except for the time taken to post about timewasters, i cant see any detrimental effect this will.

Im sure every producer/model has their own private list of people not to book/work with again even if its just a mental note due to the fact they turned down previously arranged shoots with little to no notice, so producers/models public posting surely can only help to save people working in the industry money and time. Right?

No one said we had any powers over the industry so er...what exactly is your point?

As for one of our members being in the press for harrassing a model, well this is the first time Ive heard about it. Care to tell me who it is? (email me privately if you have to)....I suspect you wont but I can wait in hope.

This is the kind of post that I find gets in the way of any progress and is indicative of the hostilities we face within the industry refuses to put aside its differences and join forces to try and make a bit of difference.

Handling your issues the way you are doing is only going to perpetuate it but of course, most producers just accept this as part of the business so not doing anything about it is ok.

Ive already invited you to come to our next meeting as well. Its your kind of gripes that are shared by other producers. Why not just come along and then you wil have a platform to moan if it doesnt work out for you.

Wrong, it's the principal of an unelected, unappointed "forum" trying to get a level of control and authority that it doesn't deserve.

So AITA and the Adult Awards are as well.. So whats the diff? We saw a void and filled it because this business has been so fractured without structure for so long

If those other associations have been formed by elections and appointments then UKAP is also in that it has an appointed exec committee and is elected by its members and funded by its members subscriptions.

You'd know that if you came to a meeting.

My apologies Be Seen Here i figured out who you were talking about.

My point is, that person is a producer andhas every right to be a member. We cannot be accountable for what people get up to in their own domestic lives and furthermore if its the person Im thinking of, then they were in a relationship with that person.

i can only think the reason you would mention that is to tarnish our efforts by taking a moral stance on it with something that doesnt affect the association at large.

There is a lot more skullduggery going on out there that makes us look like angels in comparison. i dont wish to get drawn into those personal matters and feell that is a closed subject between those two people....

However....You can also use the forum to complain about it if you like !happy!

Hell if you got moans and gripes about UKAP you can also state this on the general forum over at UKAP as well. Thats what its there for. Otherwise the argument will be down to just you and me here on the BGAFD as a lot of producers refuse to comment or contribute here.

The way i see it: If the forum serves as a deterrent and no ne ever has a valid reason to use it then it would have served its purpose.

That goes for the rtime wasting producers as well and if you have any court summons to issue then send em my way please.

Lets be honest the real reason some people are against this is because they probbaly feel they will end up being mentioned on it.

Otherwise what is there to fear? Let us go about our business then. We haven't interfered in yours.

I could end up being mentioned on it and I can just tell my side of it and that wil be the end of it.
