Who handles your payments?

Regardless of the numbers involved, CCBill and Epoch have a very record and i have to say, i've never heard of your horror stories before for both billers by the same client.

Content producers will more often than not give there content to a designated group if sites were they handle the tech/biller stuff.

Well, thats part and parcel of the webmaster forums isn't it? Not all are like that and will give you good advice about billers.

Fair enough, but you didn't quote me fully and so the point is lost.
I appreciate that this is all part and parcel of the biz but so is the stuff about operating camera equipment that you didn't quote.
I like this forum because on here people seem prepared to help out everyone - new, old, clever, daft, experienced etc... Most webmaster forums I fear are 'run' by cliques who find it hard to hide their hatred of photographers who spend their time getting good at photography and need help with the other side. I have helped several affiliates and people who have come from the code side of this business and I've never looked down on them for not knowing one end of a camera from the other.
But then I'm not insecure about my strengths and weaknesses - perhaps that's it?

I operate my own servers and payment systems.However I only deal with large volume business,which may not suit.I know the people who host ccBill and they are good and secure,and deal with smaller organisations.

I aslo host some banking sites,which means that-apart from having first class security-I have good direct relations with European and (some) US banks.

There are several payment processors working for internet gambling sites,all of whom are good.

However for small scale operators,ccBill does offer a good service.Beware ,there are number of small dodgy operators out there.Unless their sites off physical addresses and proper Ts+Cs,do NOT use them.Most are scammers.

CCBill started out with a hosting company (CWIE) and still host them now as well as being a hosting company to consumers.

I would just like to say that this is being sorted out now.
The issue was that EPOCH were not getting back to me about issues that I was raising but it appears that all my emails were going astray!

Technology eh?
Communications have been re-established and service has been resumed as soon as possible.

Thank fuck for that.
