glamourfinder disgrace...

Hi everyone
I know this has been talked about before but glamourfinder is a disgrace.
I strongly disagree with the way they are controlling the site when a person who is running one of biggest photographic studio in the country can't even approach an overseas model telling her about it and asking for some pictures to get her work when she is working in UK.It's absurd! I AM offering work to both models and photographers,I am the key element in bringing the two together and I get punished for that?!!
I am a very respected model who's been there and done it and,to be frank,I've had enough with there site when you are afraid to email anyone for any reason whatsoever.what's the point in being on it?
Plus it's considered an invasion of privacy to read private correspondence when it's addressed to someone else and I believe is illegal. It should be a model or photographer informing you if any un appropriate communication has taken place.
What do you think about this i have never in 15 years had anything like this and getting banned for nothing .
well if they keep going on like they wont even have a site .

You've been banned, like I was, for "promoting models".

GlamourFinder is clearly about to start charging models to have profiles, and needs to attempt to justify this by being the only one able to "promote models".

Don't worry about it. A few days after they make their announcement, the site will be deserted

I dont need to vouch for Lees integrity and standing in the business and you are quite right that I have heard things about this on here.

Tell Glamourfinder if they drop the ball on this then UKAP might pick it up. That should light a fire under their arse and reading peoples emails is not only illegal it is downright rude!

I'm surprised everyone who uses that site hasnt relented in protesting about it.

Maybe a representative from GF should explain themselves if they are being misunderstood somehow.

Ive heard the same thing about FaceBook. I agree. the moment they start charging people ?3.99 a month is the day they have shafted themselves and I reckon many people will just revert to MySpace or social network that is free

One young model who I'm hoping to arrange a shoot with updated her profile yesterday morning and by about 6-7 pm she had been suspended. Luckily I was talking to her before the changes and have her other contact details.

She was only 19. To me it sends out the wrong message. She's probably wondering wtf has happened.

nice to hear from you mate , i really agree with you . i got a ban last time for 3 days for putting " Hi babe " lol
They are saying that it has to be a direct booking , but you just don't book a model on the spot you ask her questions etc . And i get lots of photographers film crew coming to use our studio , and i can pass then on to other clients to get them work . Oh Terry had the legend down at our studio the other day Steve Colby funny man he is ... lol ...

The guy running Glamourfinder is doing the industry no favours.

Any new model who goes onto that site and no other, (it could happen), will think that there is no work out there as no professional producer will be able to contact them.

But, at the end of the day, the guy that owns the site can do with it as he wants.

The funny thing is that EVERY ONE of the first six remaining "Top Contacts" on the site are models who fall way outside their regulations for new models being added, while their "Freshest Female Profile" is almost always the same girl, who simply changes one or two words in her profile almost every day while the idiots do nothing about it
