That is not the case, international calls show or not show the number too according to your personal settings.

Dont forget that if dialing via a switchboard within a company most will withhold the phone number.
For example where I work you have to dial 9 before the number your dailing.this then hides the number.

I was going to say this also.....

Maybe even people calling from works phone.

I just answer every call & be a little arsey if its an idiot, dont give a shit when there is no answer, or put the phone down if no one speaks and theres loads of background noise over 10seconds.

Plus some people who are borrowing other peoples landlines to make calls, may be unaware that the phone is allready blocked, without the callers knowledge...

Well personally where business is concerned I answer every call, in this day and age to ignore a call based on the fact the number is withheld is frankly nonsense, personally for my "normal" job if I dont get an answer its onto the next supplier on the list, so you could be loosing out by being a bit too precious, just my twopeneth worth. lol

Guys sorry I didn;t intend this to turn into a debate it was just a quick post as I didn't know where else to put it as I can't get my AIR up on my phone.

I was on my way to a shoot & had someone persistently call me from a withheld no. everyone outside of porn knows I don't answer them. It's because I've had a stalker for a while & she is known to use others people's phones & then deny it was her calling me(she has called from her work before through a swithcboard), the police aren't intrested unless I can prove where the call came from hence no withheld numbers regardless of circumstances people cam email me although if someone is serrious about hiring me then they will always have a no. to call from.

Just do what I do and say immediately 'I don't take withheld numbers' and hang up right away? They'll soon get the message, although as I don't use my phone for business it might be harder to do for you, from a business point of view pissing people off.
