Pharmacy chain Superdrug is today launching the ?79 InstiTest, which gives results in just 60 seconds from a tiny fingertip blood sample.

Nurses will administer the confidential test at six stores in Brighton, Edinburgh, Croydon, Cardiff, Newcastle and Manchester. Trials have shown the test is 99.96 per cent accurate.

Patients who test positive will be referred to an NHS specialist.

Just passing on what I read in the paper

The Terrance Higgins trust will do HIV tests for free & same day results, I'm not really sure on their view of Adult Performers though.

It's only HIV 1 & 2 so not full certs as required for the safety of fellow performers.

A lot of people will test & be able to give results back the same day for the HIV 1 & 2 but these aren't full certs as only testing for one thing.
