Yes. True Dave and I dont exopect it will change overnight if ever but wouldnt bit be good in this age of freedom of information to be able to have an informed choice of who to work for and who to watch out for.

Its not my intention to ruin anyones bit of fun but I think if a girl knows a producer is amateur or professional and likes to get naked and wank behind the camera at least the girl (or guy) knows about it and there is less misunderstanding.

Nothing winds me up more than hearing a complaint with "no names mentioned" added to it.

Whats the point of that?

It only allows those people to hide behind that and continue to perpetuate the problem which frankly is getting worse recently.

The effect this has on the business is that people are more paranoid and cant relax and get the best out of the girls for a shoot because you have to chisel through the ice of distrust.

I'm not saying it's a good thing or a bad thing. I am simply saying that it won't stop it happening at all. It's just the nature of the business. How is this going to stop you know who doing it then ?

Paul,
After reading through all the comments to your post, have you consided that you could be opening a real "bag of worms" in doing this,if complaints are going to be made about togs, producers and models without giving them out a right to reply.

Would it not be better for you to introduce a feedback page for people to leave a comments after their shoots (Has they do on Purestorm).
One thing about this method is that you can always contact the people who have done so direct, to check any references of said togs,models and producers if required.

I notice their has been another big influx of models to your site again this week. Are most of them from G/F?.

My approach is simple - one complaint is neither here nor there, several about the same person, from different people, is, be they model or tog.

There IS a feedback page - you go to the persons listing and you can write a comment (if you can't , contact me. I do need to have upgraded you to Trusted, but I usually do that when you join... This process brought in a few months ago due an idiot who did comment spam...).

The problem is that while togs will post about no shows etc, models seem reluctant to post about idiots.

I'm inclined to agree Dave. I've been hearing of dodgy carrying's on since 1994 when I first got in the biz.

I think rather than naming and shaming on day to day porn business, where very often it's a case of, "Half a dozen of one and six of the other," I think it would be beneficial to post occurrances that could be considered potentially dangerous.

I think what is worrying is the seeming increase of people posing as bona fide producers, enticing girls into situations that appear could get out of hand. I think these are the stories we need to hear about.

Firstly, it's "Six of one and half a dozen of the other!" and secondly, I am not condoning "Dodgy" behaviour by producers or girls, for that matter. I know since the very early days in the 1990's, that I was in the biz, hearing about girls doing a 100 mile trip to a shoot and then being pressured to do anal or something more than they'd agree to. The "Producer" would then hail this as a great success because he got so and so to do something that other togs hadn't managed to.

I don't think that this is so common now and I think many of these producers have !flush! down the toilet. I also think girls are much more assertive nowadays which is a good thing.

Depends if you hear about these things or not Jim. I 've heard more occurences in recent months than I think Ive heard in years and noticed the mood has shifted to this business being a lot less fun than it used to be...

As for these people have gone down the toilet, I think you take out one another two appear in perpetuity. its not like it stops and starts. Its always there as people come in and out of the business all the time.

I dont think the people guilty of this think porn girls are always game on for sex and actually think its ok and where one girl will accommodate another will not.

I think what Paul is doing is merely allowing these rumours you dont hear have a voice.

The best thing about this is, by making it known people can find out for themselves and if need be defend a person if they think a model or producer is speaking out of turn.

You are right, it will not stop it but it doesnt make it any less reason to do it.

Someone is offering this service, let them provide it. I think its better to have an appropriate place where models/ producers can go to for reference around than not.

Don't misunderstand me, Teryy, I do actually agree with the idea in general and I think that you probably have your ear to the ground more than I do, as i spend alot of time abroad.

Sadly, your bit about the biz being "Alot less fun" seems quite accurate and maybe with things being so tough, the business is attracting newbie's with less motive to make money and more to get near and interact with porn girls.

Maybe when these people discover that our business isn't a none- stop free shaggathon , that things have the potential to turn nasty.

I think it's a good idea to have a name and shame system, but I think where possible the defendant should be informed that a complaint has been made against them and in turn have a right to reply. I think that this is reasonable.
