New girls coming into the industry

Well been sitting on this for some time hoping things would change but seems it getting worst !
The industry is shouting out for new or not that much seen talent, so why is it when someone new comes on the scene some seem to go through the same old crap.
I know of at least 3 girls who are quite new, maybe witin a year or so coming into the biz, they work so hard to get thereself noticed and get work, prepaired to travil 100's of miles just to to do a hour shoot, there at there computer introducing themselfs to so many diffrent producers & companies often for hours and hours each day hoping for some work, there work levels are std normal levels so there should be no problem in getting any work, OK i know the industry is suffering but its not that bad !
Anyway it seems to be the same old answers like, "sorry your not English, not tall enough, tits to small, fat or chubby, to old or just to normal looking and all that s..t, seems to me you have to be tall, skinny, blonde, big tits, nails blue eyes etc etc etc, now dont get me wrong i'm not knocking models who do look like that, in fact good luck to them but is it me or dont these "normal girls" deserve a chance to prove themselfs, i for one know of such girls who give a fantastic performance, in some cases better than the real porn star look girls, Ok so they look like the girl next door, who cares, in someways the viewer likes to see that and thats why these companys producing this type of material do so well, if i had the funds or someone wants to commission me to do a girl next door look series then thats great, i just think these girls should have a chance, like all the models there only trying to make a living like most of us, fair enough there are producers out there that do just that but when it comes to the bigger boys these girls dont stand a chance, i can fully see why we have so many short term models then just vanish into the moonlight i less than a year.
The other thing that really gets to me is when some so called producers make promisses " oh yeh ill use you again next month or i know someone who can use you then expect some after shoot private time included in the fee, and when they dont get it they get nasty, what the f...k, this is so un-professional and i hope the persons who read this who do this will take note, i'm not naming names but i know who you are.
The industry is suffring enough without any of all this, no wonder some girls get frightened out of the biz.
Well thats my banter, and let me just say this is not directed at anyone in pertickler or to affend anyone, just feel so stong about this and need to air it, would be intresting to see if anyone would like to add to this or make a comment.

on one hand i agree, on the other, well, the industry is about profits and marketability as much as any other.

i wasnt born with big boobs or blond hair, but i know in terms of certain industries its best to fit a mould. i MADE myself physically fit that. (and i cant help being naturally tall and slim, although, these two traits are not always desired in porn anyways) , the main girls i know of getting work are shorter, younger, small natural boobs and a cute bubbly type personality. its what sells. its where the profits are to turn over to make new porn.

now i agree, people like every thing, theres a market for BBW, theres a market for goth tattooed up girls,theres markets for pretty much every type of looking girl. but you wouldnt see too many girls from these genres trying to crossover into mainstream cookie cutter porn.

maybe these girls could pick out their best physical traits and work to that? ie if they have a great ass, work more on getting anal booking or ass fetish sites? if they are just "normal" looking as you mentioned, get into girl next door porn,people LOVE porn that doesnt look like fake porn stars are performing, so i dont see why that wont work for them?

failing that, why not try to US market?! lol

Unless the girls are prepared to escort there simply isn't enough work for them just doing porn either here, in LA, in Prague or in Budapest and that is a FACT ! END OF STORY !

Thats what i mean, 5'6" and under and it seems to get harder to get work ! unless you are something special.

Ten years ago girls got ?250-?350 for a scene. That would be worth ?400-?500 today. But they still get ?250-?350.

A job a week then was a living (outside London), 2 was a good one, and some girls could make a LOT of money.

Even a few years ago there were companies (not BB) offering good contracts.

Plus the USA was a much easier game to play.

Now girls need two jobs a week to feel it's a UK living, contracts have gone and the USA isn't an option for girls without money.

Plus the amateurs bombarding every new girl with lowball offers wasn't the problem that it is today. It does rather put some new models off.

Well at least they're getting paid the same. Us stills shooters have had massive payment cuts, to the point of there being no viable sales outlets left in the UK anymore.

And as models (as a group) have contributed to the situation they find themselves in, its really only fair they should take some of the consequences.

For the most part thats not true Dave because brand new girls usually come in through the amateur route because bigger companies dont actively recruit as the small producer. I know because in my hey day (as well as working wirth John) we were responsible for bringing the most new girls into the bsuiness..

Most of them stuck around and others went onto being bigger names in the US and fopr the most part quit because the work fizzled out or they just got it out of their system and moved on and went back to civvy life.
