I fail to see the connection with your stolen vehicle and your work.If it was a 'hate' crime,why was the car not trashed instead? I assume that it was locked? Perhaps ,when you get a replacement,you might consider installing a small GPS tracker?

Was it a modern car? 07 plate or above? If so it's notoriously hard to hotwire one due to all cars now being built with immbolisers. Hot wiring etc is a thing of the 90's

Surely regular live tweets and blog updates telling people you are working abroad, (and essentially not at home) make it dangerous if some nutter finds out where you live?

Footballers and other public figures are often burgled when people who know where they live, see that they're live, at a different location.

I don't believe you were targeted because of being a porn star but just unlucky to have a car some scum bag wanted.
My son as had 3 bikes nicked from our back garden over the last 5-6 years in an area which has one of the lowest crime rates in country, all my neighbours know what i do but i know its down to some little shit just wanting a free bike not hatred for porn stars.
People may not always understand why we do the job we do but by experience most honestly don't care & the ones that do don't say anyway, i hope you have better luck in your new place.

thanks Kim and yes unfortunately these things happen. At the time I assumed it was due to my job purely because of the nature of some of the nasty emails but i guess your right. People are shits hahah - thanks for ur kind words x
