Geek question here, if I may.... The 'Unofficial Video'... Any idea what equipment it was shot on?

It was shot on a Lumix FX500 Basically my dinky lil stills camera. I couldnt be arsed to be on proper video duty and lug video gear around

The official video was shot on a VX2000 from what I saw

Cheers Terry. Didn't realize it was you filming the unofficial one... Thing is, it looks better picture quality than the sony.

I watched it full screen on my 21.5 iMac and the detail was much clearer than the 'official' one.

The quality of stills cameras such as the Canons 550d, 5d and 7d are superceding the z7s as the camera of choi e because of its ability to shoot better progressive images than video cameras ie no artifacting in the dark areas and solid blacks.

They are now the choice of serious film makers on a budget at the moment and do takea bit of getting used to.

The sound sucks major dick though so consider shooting with an external recorder instead if you go this route
