Does anyone have a cannon xl2 ?

My cannon is poorly and just to make life that little bit more fun, because we got this camera from Japan (and why wouldnt you) the instruction manual is in Italian, French and Dutch? The symbol thats poppin up can be found in section D and it looks like a little man in a row boat. This is constantly flahsing on screen and the camera is unable to film or playback any tapes?

Failing that does anyone know where cannons fixing it shop is as the camera has already been to my local camera shop and they sent it back saying cannon needed to have a go?

Hi,

It could be damp as well. i use to work on televisions and this one tv was just tripping all the time. A hairdryer used. ?20 pounds and a happy customer. !happy!

If it's damp it affects the drum, which is bad news, I had a Sanyo which did the same thing.

Hopefully it just needs a new Lithium battery though.
