Hello all,
About 30 minutes ago I had this email turn up in my inbox.
Perporting to be from Tammie Lee it reads...........
"Hi,
How are you doing today?.I am really sorry to bother you with this email but i just want you to know what i am facing right now.I am sorry that i didn't inform you about my traveling to West africa, nigeia for a Seminar,i am presently in nigeria now but unfortunately for me i lost my wallet which contains my money and other valuable things in a taxi.I can easily access the internet for now but i do not have access to phone.I want you to assist me urgently with a loan of $2,500 to sort-out my hotel bills and to get myself back home. I have spoken to the embassy here but they are not responding to the matter effectively,i promise i will pay you back as soon as i return.Kindly let me know if you can be of help so that i can send you the details you will use to send the money to me here in nigeria.
I will greatly appreciate your reply.
Tammie,"
Nigeria.......I'm very suspicious.
This is the message source, can anyone "interpret" it and see where it originated?

Re: Is This A Scam?
Yes, Tammie's in Nigeria, and she went "for a seminar".
Probably on the subject of how easy hotmail accounts are to hack.
Also, she writes not in textspeak like a real model, but like a Nigerian.

Re: Is This A Scam?
Don't you think she might have personalised a plea for help rather than just beginning with "Hi"?
Re: Is This A Scam?
I smelt a rat as soon as I saw it but haven't got Tammie's number to call or text and check it out.
Thanks rgb and all you good people !thumbsup!
