hi everyone
somebody has set up a facebook profile in the name of joanne james ,even though there is pictures of me this isnt my facebook page . I have a myspace page only .

It seems that these people ain't got nothing better to do than come up with fake profiles.

One of me aswel hun, annoys the hell outta me as so many people have reported it as a fake page yet facebook havent taken it down yet they take authentic model pages down in a matter of hours. i hate fb!

Go to Facebook ?Report a Fake Profile? page, fill the details and submit

i have already reported it thanks ,just didnt want fans adding themselves onto it thinking it was me

Maybe you could try this as well?

Sign up to Facebook (under another name of course and without any of your photos). Ask to become a "friend" to the person with the fake profile and, if they accept, reveal who you really are then post on their wall that they are fake and it's not you.

Facebook might ban you for that but if you haven't got a Facebook profile anyway I doubt you'd be worried.

try this instead of reporting the profile as fake, report it as underage that seems to get things taken down immediately as we tried the fake profile route for a friend, someone had set up pretending to be my friends band and posting all sorts of racist crap about him, we couldnt get it removed (I have no idea why cause it truly was terrible) so I logged in and tagged it as underage and said it was a kid from my childs school and all of a sudden it taken down.

Good luck, I had someone post piccies of me on harmony pretending they were me.

Something similar happened to me some loser call patric joesf decided to tag me in HC b/g shots needless to say he was in breach of copyright and he is being dealt with some ppl are just really sad
