new to adult business seeking advice

Hi

Apart from making a few websites for escort agencies a while ago I am new to the porn business.

I am a freelance web designer/developer and I want to expand my expertise, particularly in the adult business area.

Basically what I'm looking for is an advice on where and how to start. I noticed some of the members here have sites with galleries/vids, some also sell DVDs etc. What would be the best way to start in the adult industry?
Shall I look for a partnership with someone experienced or start from the scratch?
Is gallery/video hosting profitable?

Any advice is very much appreciated or maybe something I could read about it...

thanks I don't really want to be a model. I was thiking along the lines of designing/hosting sites and working with the video, promotion etc.
