Not sure if that e-mail address is valid for Sydney, I e-mailed her three days ago offering her local paid work at those levels, with no reply.

It's not just models who don't reply, I have had no responses when I have emailed producers etc, so it does cut both ways.

If everyone just took the time to respond, even if it's to say "Sorry not interested" or "I don't have anything for you at the moment" then it would save stress both ways.

I believe in treating people in how you want to be treated, but hey i'm 42 so what do I know lol.

Well, I'm 40+ and I too always reply, even if it's in the negative. I'm sure the no-reply phenomenon happens both ways, but 2 wrongs don't make a right.
Unfortunately, there's a mass of models who, after receiving an email, just can't be arsed to reply.
What's worse is that sometimes I've been replying to their initial email!!
I've had replies a week or two later, by which time I've engaged another model, so they've missed the boat.

I had a guy email me a few weeks back and I replied saying Thankyou for email but I am not interested. He emailed back saying thanks for response and being honest, he said at least you had decency to reply which is more than most do.

I believe in being honest and taking the time to reply, it is after all common courtesy.

People may not always like my response but one thing is sure, you will always know where you stand with me lol.

I know i'm not every ones cup of tea but at least I was dragged up with manners lol

unfortunately not all of us are tied to our email boxes and also have lives and other responsibilities and commitments

i'm sre she will reply but she is extremely busy as itold Bill initially and i also told him her verbal response but he still emailed her and shes probably put it on the back burner

no need to crucify her for that when i already told you she wasn't interested

First of all, this conversation has moved on from being just about your associate. Also it's a little less than polite to say things like not being 'tied' to email and having lives, which is saying by clear implication that those of us who bother to read and reply to the messages we have asked for don't have lives and are tied to our inboxes. These days most of us have phones which tell us as soon as we receive messages.
I've heard this tired old excuse about being busy and not being tied to email too many times now. In reality, it just portrays a disorganised mind or a serious lack of manners, not a social butterfly.

People who are bad at dealing with correspondence will soon find they have lots of free time on their hands mind you!
