Thing is, this sort of thing is becoming more an dmore prevlaent in a business where I still beleive if you odnt have the money..then dont shoot.

I'm surprised anyone ever works for credit unless they know for sure the money is going to be paid.

the odd on eor two among people you work with regularly I can understand but you know the day when people paid by cheque and they started bouncing was a bad sign. is it any wonder why girls are leaving the business.

It aint what it used to be. Its gone the way of any other buisness now and that probably is bad when you hear girls are charging by the hour. Its rock bottom budgets ahoy now!

for my 2 cents worth - I dont understand why anybody would work for free and then trust payment to arrive - if it is playboy etc - then maybe you have to agree to their terms - but anybody else -

i think all you can do it put it down to experience and move on - one thing I do not understand is why you cant name -

Personally I think thsi is exactly what this forum is about - collaborating and sharing - if it is genuine then other people need to know - or else other peop,le will suffer the same and more people will leave the industry.

I'll never understand why companies even offer a delayed payment. Even the big one's such as Playboy, Hustler etc, sure they are massive but why should it take them 30 days or longer to complete a transaction when smaller, more financially less off, producers can pay on shoot day.

I can understand to some degree the performer's predicament, especially if the company has a powerful name in the industry because they clearly, and rightly, want more work out of that company so perhaps their guard is a little vulnerable to exploitation.

I was shocked to learn just how rife this issue is, a few models I have worked with have had this issue or similar, as far as I know they got paid in the end.

The porn industry doesn't need any more of a bad reputation.
