If the shoe fits consider this a friendly warning.
No names need be mentioned at this point but it had to be said and it cannot be tolerated while it has been brought to our attention

Re: Open warning from UKAP: To whom it may concern
People like this make fools of others like myself, who, when in London have to trek up to Paddington hospital and have our tests done. No doubt the same people, who are willing to work without a test, would then toddle off to their computer and printer and "Knock up" a test when it's required.
Personally, I think these producers SHOULD be named, because there are serious health issues at stake. If these people are not named, they will carry on regardless and possibly start an outbreak that will affect all those innocent performers who bother to get themselves tested properly!
Luckily for me, it would seem, I don't shoot much in the UK these days, but if and when I do, I'll be checking tests with a fine toothcomb from now on and I suggest anyone else does the same!!furious!

I agree Jim but this was the best course of action as you know as well as I that anyone cornered and in the wrong just comes out hostile trying to deflect from the original issue.
Its best to have the warning in place first so that when or if we do name them we can point out a warning has been issued, even if they didnt see it, ignorance is simply not an option.

That is a very disturbing situation OEJ, one that needs to be nipped in the bud.
Well done to UKAP for bringing it out in the open.

If you want to be seen as professionals, then you don't wait, you name them.
And if it doesn't matter if they see the warning or not, then why waste time warning?
And if it doesn't matter if they see the warning or not, then why waste time warning?
Maybe thise is a way to deal with it
Jim says - OEJ You speak with the wisdom of Yoda! But all the same how will we know if they have in fact heeded, "The warning?"
Lara makes a good point:
Why dont you have a section on UKAP for 'have you ever been asked to work without a certificate'? Just like the 'no show section'. In this way you can have the implicated parties being allowed to respond to 'said accusations'.
It also keeps it on the correct forum.

Hugh
Because it is third party information and we are trying to avoid the unnecessary mudslinging that comes with making accusations and frankly none of us have time to wage a war with words
Contrary to what people might think we are not here to ruin peoples businesses but this ignorant attitude with regards tests simply has to stop. This is just a civil approach.

Jim. If it continues then we'll start yapping. Hence the friendly warning.
However, we will give them a chance to refute the claim as well but we know that people will know the truth for themselves anyway
