HD camcorder using mini DV tapes

I am looking for a HD camcorder to play back my HD footages on my mini DV tapes.As I am not shooting with the camcorder,the specification is not important as long as it can play my mini DV tapes in HD and must have a fire wire out socket.Offers welcome.

I have the same problem as the Firewire socket on my Sony HVR A1E does not work. I will probably have to hire a DV tape deck to transfer them.

You could get yourself a Sony Z1 Z5 or Z7 or you could get the Sony M15 which is a standalone player and recorder for HDV and plays and records on standard mini DV. Ive got two if you are interested as I want to get the machines that play progressive which I shoot on

Let me know if you are interested as they are both in spanking good condition and hardly used (since I shoot progressive)
